Bevicort™ HFA Inhaler (120 Puffs) is a combination inhaler designed for the maintenance treatment of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), including chronic bronchitis and emphysema. It contains three active ingredients: Formoterol Fumarate (5.5 mcg), a long-acting beta-agonist (LABA) that helps relax the muscles of the airways and improve airflow; Glycopyrronium Bromide (10.4 mcg), an anticholinergic agent that prevents the constriction of airway muscles, thereby helping to open the airways; and Budesonide (182 mcg), an inhaled corticosteroid that reduces airway inflammation. This inhaler is used to manage COPD symptoms, but it is not meant for the relief of acute bronchospasm. The recommended dosage is two inhalations twice daily (morning and evening), and after each use, it is advised to rinse the mouth to reduce the risk of oral thrush. Caution is needed for patients with a history of cardiovascular issues, diabetes, or glaucoma, and the inhaler should only be used as directed.
